Heart of Ohio Council

The Heart of Ohio Council is pleased to offer this program to support advancement in our Cub Scout packs and Boy Scout troops. Units qualifying will receive one free cloth advancement patcher per rank/per boy, as earned and recorded on a unit advancement report marked as a "Free Rank Unit." Rank emblems included are: Bobcat, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, Arrow of Light, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle.
Cub Scout Packs must do all four:
1. Participate in the Fall popcorn sale.
2. Participate in the Family Friends of Scouting Campaign, by holding a presentation during January, February, or March.
3. Use the online re-charter system to renew your unit on time.
4. Pack mus either have a gain in membership or an increase in their retention rate over December 31 of the previous year.
 
Boy Scout Troops must do all four:

Records will be updated at the conclusion of each of the four activities to add new qualifiers and to delete any who failed to participate.
